DR. DAWN ROCKWELL, DMD
DR. ALEXANDER ROCKWELL, DMD
Originally from Kiev, Ukraine, Dr. Alex Rockwell, immigrated to the United States with his parents when he was 12 years old. By age 15, already working as an assistant in his mother’s dental practice, Dr. Rockwell knew that he wanted to follow in her footsteps. Today, he and his wife Dr. Dawn Rockwell, along with their children, are proud to provide comprehensive dental care to patients in Middletown and Hamilton, New Jersey, at Rockwell Dentistry.
Dr. Alex Rockwell attended Brooklyn College in New York City and then earned his doctorate in dental medicine from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. After dental school, Dr. Rockwell spent the following years studying and gaining experience in Oral Surgery, and Endodontics. He also pursued advanced training in Periodontics, Implantology, and Acute Care. Dr. Rockwell is among the relatively few dentists who excel in both the surgical placement and restorative phases of dental implants, allowing him to guide patients seamlessly from start to finish.
Dr. Alex Rockwell, in addition to private practice, teaches at Temple University School of Dentistry passing on his knowledge to the dental students. As an attending doctor at Monmouth Medical Center’s dental clinic in Long Branch, New Jersey, Dr. Rockwell also provided training and taught clinical dentistry to the residents in the hospital’s dental program. Today, he regularly participates in advanced courses, seminars, and study groups that address unique areas of dental care. He wants to ensure that every patient in his practice encounters a highly skilled, proficient dental professional at the top of his game when it comes to providing state-of-the-art dental care.
Dr. Alex Rockwell’s expertise and experience allowed him the honor of being selected as one of the leaders in the dental field as an author of “Consequences of missing teeth?”in “Smile – Creating Healthy and Beautiful Smiles With Cosmetic Dentistry.”
Dr. Rockwell maintains affiliations in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside of the office Dr. Rockwell enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Dawn, and their twin children, Eric and Natasha. Dr. Rockwell also enjoys playing and coaching hockey with Eric, skiing, golf and auto racing.
DR. NATASHA ROCKWELL, DMD
Dr. Natasha Rockwell is known for her elevated, aesthetic-driven approach to modern dentistry. She embraces the balance between art and science, believing that it is the smallest details that make the greatest difference in creating truly exceptional results.
Guided by her personal philosophy–how you do one thing is how you do everything–Dr. Natasha approaches each treatment with intention, precision, and uncompromising attention to detail. With a keen eye for proportion, symmetry, and nuance, she delivers refined, natural-looking smiles that enhance each patient’s features.
Her work focuses on minimally invasive, high-impact results–from subtle smile enhancements to comprehensive treatments–while preserving long-term oral health and building lasting patient relationships grounded in trust and care. She practices in both Hamilton and Middletown locations, New Jersey, providing patients with a personalized detail-oriented approach.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Natasha values a wellness driven lifestyle. She prioritizes meaningful time with her loved ones, staying active through fitness and yoga, and giving back through dental mission trips serving underserved communities. She currently lives in Jersey City, NJ with her fiancé and soon-to-be kitten, and draws inspiration from travel, fashion, and design–bringing a sense of warmth, intention, and connection into both her life and her work.
DR. ERIC ROCKWELL, DMD
Dr. Eric Rockwell, of Modern Marlton Dentistry, earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, honing his skills and embracing the latest advancements in dental technology and patient centered care.
Dr. Eric Rockwell brings a strong passion for surgery and dental implants to the Rockwell family practice. His advanced training and enthusiasm for implant dentistry enhance the scope of care offered in Hamilton, allowing patients to receive more comprehensive treatment in a familiar, trusted setting.
With a focus on precision, innovation, and patient comfort, Dr. Eric Rockwell expands the practice’s capabilities while continuing its tradition of personalized care. His presence reflects the next generation of the Rockwell family’s commitment to excellence-combining modern surgical expertise with the warm, patient-centered approach the practice is known for.

Office Manager/ Billing Coordinator
Bonnie has worked with Dr. Dawn at Rockwell Dentistry for the past 20 plus years. Always greeting our patients with a cheerful smile, Bonnie can be found working at the front desk. Years of dedication in the medical field provided a solid foundation for her when she transferred to dental in the late 90’s. Bonnie specializes in insurance policies and handles the financial responsibilities of the office. Born in New Jersey, she raised her family locally with her husband and now reaps the benefits of being a Gigi to her rambunctious grandbabies. Bonnie is always ready to try new things and see the sites with her family and friends. Being a native Jersey girl, saltwater flows through Bonnies veins. Whenever she is not at Rockwell, you will find her strolling the beaches and basking in the sun. Nature, family, and fun describes her perfectly.
Front Desk Receptionist
Victoria joined our team in 2021 as a front desk receptionist along side Bonnie. She has worked in the dental field since 2018 and is the cheerful voice on the other end of the phone whenever you call to schedule your next appointment. Victoria is originally from Philadelphia but now resides in New Jersey with her family. She is a mother to an energetic little boy and two wonderful fur babies. In her spare time, she loves to read, explore the world, and spend time with her family and friends. She has created a mini library in our office for patients to easily take a novel for a weekend escape. Feel free to give a book or take a book next time you are in.
Dental Assistant
Paula has been a licensed dental assistant for 17 years. She came to our office after her previous employer of over a decade retired. Paula has worked alongside general dentist and periodontist, therefore she has expertise in all phases of general dentistry as well as specialty procedures, such as implants. She is originally from Colombia and speaks fluent Spanish. A devoted animal lover, Paula has 3 cats, 1 dog and a chubby guinea pig. Besides being an enthusiast of all furry friends, Paula is an amazing mother to two beautiful girls. She currently lives outside of Hamilton with her family and her small zoo.
Dental Assistant
Henrieta was born and raised in Slovakia and immigrated to the United States in 1997. She settled in New Jersey where she met the love of her life and began her family. She is a mother to two marvelous children, one boy and one girl. Henrieta became a dental assistant in the early 2000’s and has spent time supporting general dentist doing restorative work, oral surgery, and orthodontic care. She is a staple at Rockwell Dentistry with her warm and compassionate smile, which has made her Dr Dawns right hand woman. Always with a coffee in her hand, Henrieta can be found cooking and caring for her family on the weekends. She adores nature and hikes regularly.
Dental Hygienist
Sherin has been a licensed dental hygienist since 2003. She graduated from the School of Health-Related Professionals through UMDNJ with several accolades and the highest GPS in her class. She was born and raised in Kerala, India and immigrated to the United States in 1999. It was during her time in India that she became interested in working in the dental field after watching her aunt work as a dentist. Sherin’s quiet nature and gentle touch has benefited her greatly as so many patients request her for their cleanings. On her days off, Sherin enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She loves cooking Indian food and has perfected her biriyani rice recipe.
Dental Hygienist
Lisa joined our office with over 30 years’ experience as a dental hygienist and works closely with Dr. Dawn to maintain the beautiful smiles of our patients. She became a licensed dental hygienist after a friend suggested the career to her because of her caring and personable bed side manner. Lisa provides a gentle experience along with the knowledge needed to every person who graces her dental chair. She was born and raised in New Jersey and is happily married with two wonderful children with whom she enjoys exploring nature with on her days off. On any given sunny day, she can be found biking the trails of Veterans or Mercer County Park. Lisa is a lover of all animals but has a soft spot for her beloved dog Casey, an adorable Havanese.
Assistant Office Manager
The newest member of the Rockwell Team, Goldie the fancy tail goldfish has taken over the tasking role of office manager. Born into the carnival life, Goldie was adopted by Paula’s eldest daughter in 2014 during a game of tank pong. Her style is unfathomable with orange eye liner and luxurious fins. Goldies presence in our waiting area provides calmness for our patients while they prepare for their dental journeys.
Dr. Dawn Rockwell received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. She completed a General Practice Residency at Jersey Shore Medical Center. This 1 year prestigious program emphasized complex restorative procedures. Dr. Rockwell is a dedicated and compassionate dentist committed to providing personalized, high-quality care in a comfortable, patient-focused environment. As part of a proud third-generation dental tradition, she brings a deep respect for the profession along with a modern approach to treatment and patient communication.
Dr. Rockwell is known for her attentive, intuitive style—taking the time to truly understand each patient’s needs and concerns, and tailoring care accordingly. She believes that excellent dentistry goes beyond clinical skill, emphasizing trust, education, and a calm, supportive experience at every visit.
With a strong commitment to continuing education and staying current with advancements in dental care, Dr. Rockwell ensures her patients benefit from the latest techniques and technologies. A self-proclaimed “Jersey Girl,” Dr. Dawn enjoys spending time with her extended family at the shore, yoga and educating herself about health and wellness. She is also an avid animal lover and she loves playing and taking care of her family dog Bella.
